Charcot Foot

Patient 1:

Middle aged man with Charcot’s foot from a polyneuropathy of unclear etiology. He had sensory deficits in a stocking glove distribution of the lower extremities, including deficits in pain/temp and vibration/proprioception. Hemoglobin a1c was normal and he has never had diabetes in the past. A workup for polyneuropathy is underway.
